By trading-up, customers leverage their XenApp licenses to get XenDesktop 4, which allows them to do everything they do today with XenApp and deliver high-definition virtual desktops to every user in their organization. XenApp customers can trade up their licenses now, continue to use application virtualization as they always have, and add virtual desktops at their own pace.
