Microsoft, Citrix, and ZAG Technical Services are hosting an exclusive detailed technical briefing on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for Enterprises on October 26, 2011 at 8:30am. This event is being hosted at the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) at the Silicon Valley campus in Mountain View, this event will be a deep dive into how Enterprises are rolling out and managing VDI today.
Citrix engineers will also present at this event. The Citrix solution is a world class VDI solution that Enterprises are incorporating with Microsoft to offer a truly great VDI environment for their users.
A local enterprise will also talk to their real life experiences in deploying VDI to extend the capabilities of their staff. Their installation, supporting 300 remote employees, what issues they had and how deploying VDI helped their business.
To wrap up this executive session, Michael Clark, the Vice President for Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners (SMS&P) in the West Region for Microsoft Corporation will speak on Microsoft’s vision.
Michael is responsible for the marketing and sale of Microsoft commercial products and services to small and medium-sized business customers in the Western United States. In addition, he is responsible for ensuring the overall health of the Microsoft partner ecosystem, as well as deepening relationships with managed partners in the region.

San Jose, CA – May 9, 2011 One hundred dollars has been donated to the Giants Community Fund on behalf of a Salinas based company by ZAG Technical Services.
The week of April 25 –29, ZAG held a contest where the company that had the most employees “like” ZAG’s Facebook page would have $100 donated in their name to their charity of choice. A Salinas based company had the most employees “like” the ZAG Facebook page and were able to choose a charity to donate the money to.
The Salinas based company chose to donate the money to a bay area charity, the Giants Community Fund and the Celebrities for Charity Foundation. The Giants Community Fund works to enrich the lives of underserved youth through the Junior Giants program and other community initiatives. Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, is a free, non-competitive and innovative baseball program for boys and girls ages 5-18 years old.
